About the Bridgewater Players
The Bridgewater Players perform three full-length plays a year in Thelwall, near Warrington in Cheshire.
BWP have a rich history, starting in 1951 with six people. Since then, we’ve put on over 198 plays, starting in Lymm, and after moving through various performance spaces, now rehearse and perform in our current home of Thelwall. We’re a friendly group and we’re always on the lookout for people who would like to perform, but also for backstage or front of house support. There really is something for everyone.
Join our Newsletter
We have a really useful newsletter that we publish monthly via email. It contains loads of really useful information about what is happening and when tickets are available for our plays. If you’re interested, you can sign up here
We’re Social!
We have an active social calendar so members and their friends and families can get together and relax.
We frequently go for a quick drink after rehearsals at The Little Manor or The Pickering Arms. We go and watch other theatrical productions, professional and amateur seasonally. And we meet up occasionally for meals at establishments in and around Warrington.
