About the Bridgewater Players
The Bridgewater Players perform three full-length plays a year in Thelwall, near Warrington in Cheshire.
BWP have a rich history, starting in 1951 with six people. Since then, we’ve put on over 180 plays, starting in Lymm, and after moving through various performance spaces, now rehearse and perform in our current home of Thelwall. We’re a friendly group and we’re always on the lookout for people who would like to perform, but also for backstage or front of house support. There really is something for everyone.

We have a really useful newsletter that we publish monthly via email. It contains loads of really useful information about what is happening and when tickets are available for our plays. If you’re interested, you can sign up here
We’re Social!
We have an active social calendar so members and their friends and families can get together and relax.
Once a month we meet for drinks and a meal at the Wheatsheaf Inn at Agden, near Lymm.
We also have a Start of Season dinner and an End of Season dinner, plus a summer barbecue at the home of one of the members.
