Casting has been completed for the February play, Relatively Speaking by Alan Ayckbourn, and rehearsals will start on Tuesday 22 November 2016. Set build is on Sun 19th February 2017.
All societies and groups need helpers. Here at Bridgewater Players we are always in need of an extra pair of hands. For various reasons (illness, job changes, house moves and people leaving for university) we have lost a number of regular members over the years.
In particular, the back-stage crew, absolutely essential to each and every production, has become somewhat depleted and those who remain are working tirelessly to ensure that the show goes on! If you feel that you have a hidden talent in dressmaking, sewing, woodwork or are a dab hand with a drill and paint brush or are just interested in helping out in this busy but very interesting department we would be delighted to hear from you. The folks at Bridgewater Players are friendly and will give you a warm welcome.
So don’t be tempted to fall asleep in front of a TV that has nothing to offer; come on down to rehearsals and give us a hand.
We are now in the 2016-17 season at the Bridgewater Players. Subscriptions are now £10 per person per season. If you still haven't paid your subs for this season, please send them to Carol Roberts as soon as possible. Only paid-up members of the society are covered by our insurance policy.
Can you put up a poster?
We want to let as many people as possible know about Bridgewater Players productions and one good way is by having posters all over the place. However, it takes time and a lot of shoe leather for one or two people to try to distribute them all.
Could you help us by arranging to have a show poster or two displayed in an outlet near you? The best places to try are local shops, libraries, leisure centres, doctors, dentists and hair salons. We can provide the posters in A4 size, so please contact us if you can help.
